The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 comes in nine capable trims. With so much to choose from, you’re guaranteed to be able to build your perfect pickup. Let’s explore what the trim lineup has to offer.
WT
WT (Work Truck) models are a perfect starting point for basic work functionality. They have a 2.7L TurboMax I4 with 310 hp and a payload capacity of 1,960 pounds. The vinyl seats are easy to clean, and the rear seat in crew cab models offers under-seat storage. The 7-inch infotainment display offers wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Custom
Custom models use the TurboMax engine. They offer more standard features than the WT, with power-adjustable front seats, remote start capabilities, heated side mirrors, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
LT
The LT has the TurboMax engine but is available with a 5.3L V8 that delivers 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Cloth upholstery is standard, but leather is an available upgrade. The front seats are heated, while ventilation is optional. The infotainment system is upgraded to a 13.4-inch display with built-in Google.
RST
RST models use the TurboMax engine and have 5.3L and 6.2L V8s available. The 6.2L V8 produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. RST models add sporty features such as blacked-out exterior components. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and leather upholstery is also available. Heating for the front seats is optional.
Custom Trail Boss
The Custom Trail Boss uses the TurboMax engine, but is available with the 5.3L V8. It offers several off-road-oriented features such as a 2-inch factory lift, red tow hooks, skid plates, and AT tires. The inside is more utilitarian, with cloth seating, optional power-adjustments, and a 7-inch infotainment display.
LTZ
The LTZ comes standard with the 5.3L V8 engine. It sets up in luxury, offering leather-appointed seats with heated front and rear seats. A premium Bose audio system replaces the 6-speaker stereo, and a wireless charging pad comes standard.
LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss uses the TurboMax engine, but drivers can upgrade to the 5.3L V8 or 6.2L V8. It offers the trail-oriented features of the Custom Trail Boss, but with more premium amenities inside the cabin.
High Country
The High Country has a standard 5.3L V8, but is available with the 6.2L V8 or a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine with almost 500 lb-ft of torque. This trim exudes opulence, with perforated leather seats with heating/ventilation, open-pore wood trim, and Super Cruise hands-free driving technology.
ZR2
The ZR2 is the only trim to come standard with the diesel engine. It enables a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds when properly equipped. This trim is the cream of the crop, combining the luxury offerings of the High Country with rugged capabilities for off-road pursuits.
